NEW YORK: Christine Brown has been promoted to SVP and director of corporate communications at Grey Global Group, where she will head up all corporate communications, including media relations, executive speechwriting, and all online and printed communications. She has worked for Grey in corporate communications since 1983 and, as VP/director, was the second highest-ranking communications officer.
SAN FRANCISCO: Fleishman-Hillard has named SVP Kevin McGuirk as co-chairman of its tech practice. McGuirk joined Fleishman in October, having previously served as VP of corporate communications at BEA Systems. The practice's other co-chairman is Robert Hallman, who works in Fleishman's New York office.
