NEW YORK: Hill & Knowlton has promoted Judi Frost Mackey to the position of US corporate and financial practice director.
She reports to MaryLee Sachs, H&K's USA chairman. Mackey, who also joins the firm's US executive committee, replaces Ron Hartwig, who becomes a senior counselor.
Mackey new duties include helming the firm's corporate reputation; crisis, financial, litigation, and internal communications; issues management; IR; labor relations; and transactions and restructurings practices.
She will continue to serve as director of the New York corporate and financial practice. Mackey is credited with garnering new business such as America West Airlines, Computer Associates, DSM, Kanoodle.com, and UK Trade & Investment for the NY corporate office.
Mackey joined H&K in January 2004 after chairing Burson-Marsteller's US corporate and financial practice, and serving as EVP and global practice leader for its reputation management practice at Edelman.
