Edelman fill vacant Sacramento GM position

SACRAMENTO: Edelman has filled one of the empty GM roles that have marked Sacramento?s PR landscape for the past year.

SACRAMENTO: Edelman has filled one of the empty GM roles that have marked Sacramento?s PR landscape for the past year.

Steve Telliano has joined the agency as an SVP and GM of the Sacramento office. He replaces Jami Warner, who left earlier this year to work as an independent consultant.

Telliano joins from Sacramento-based Perry Communications.

?I want to focus on increasing the presence of Edelman?s California team,? said Telliano. ?We have four offices in California, and few of the national firms can say that.?

Telliano takes over an eight-person office, with clients including BP America and the California Travel & Tourism Commission.

Many agencies have seen change in region in the past year. Fleishman-Hillard named SVP and senior partner Dan Barber as GM of its Sacramento office after GM John Segale left in April; Burson-Marsteller scaled back its presence in March; and Rich Halberg left Hill & Knowlton?s Sacramento office last year.
