SAN FRANCISCO and CHICAGO: Citigate Sard Verbinnen has opened a San Francisco office, with former AT&T VP Paul Kranhold serving as MD.
Sard is also preparing for a change in leadership in its Chicago office.
The new office, the agency?s third, comes as many clients requested a West Coast presence for the firm, said president Paul Verbinnen.
Running the Bay Area office will be Kranhold, who joins from AT&T, where he was VP of corporate PR. Prior to AT&T, Kranhold was an SVP for public affairs in Fleishman-Hillard?s San Francisco office.
Joining Kranhold in San Francisco will be agency principal Matt Benson.
In Chicago, MD Ron Culp said he will become chairman of that office, and that the agency would soon announce a new MD.
Culp, a 10-year veteran with Sears, joined Sard in July 2003 to open the Chicago office.
His new role will allow him to focus on senior-level consulting, select business development efforts, and other professional and nonprofit interests, said Culp, in an e-mail.
