ALVISO, CA, and LOS ANGELES: After just five months as corporate communications director, David Shane has left TiVo to join talent agency ICM as SVP of corporate communications.
His exit follows on the heels of that of senior PR manager Kathryn Kelly, who left TiVo in February - and whom Shane replaced - and VP of marketing Susan Cashen, who left in October.
In the interim, Culver City, CA-based agency The Rose Group will run TiVo's communications. TiVo declined to comment on the hunt for a new head of communications or its ongoing agency search.
At ICM, Shane replaces David Lux, who recently joined 20th Century Fox as SVP of corporate communications. ICM represents Mel Gibson, Steve Martin, and other celebrities.
Shane said the job at ICM was an opportunity he couldn't pass up.
