WASHINGTON: Ryan McDay, national director of communications for the United Negro College Fund, will be leaving the organization on Aug. 3 to join the Public Affairs Group (PAG) as VP of business development.
At PAG, McDay will help companies and non-profits improve and maintain employee diversity inside their organizations. PAG is a Washington, DC-based PR and communications firm, with an emphasis on corporate relations and marketing development.
McDay worked as comms director at UNCF, the nation?s largest African-American charity organization, for four years.
Prior to joining UNCF, he served as director of sponsorship and content for WorldSpace Corp. He also worked at Widmeyer Communications for six years as a senior associate and account executive.
UNCF, based in Fairfax, VA, currently is currenly searching for McDay?s replacement.
