LOS ANGELES: Zeitgeist Communications and Pacific Media Partners, which both specialize in interactive entertainment and video games, are merging their operations to create a ?one-stop? advertising and PR shop.

Pacific Media Partners specializes in media buying and advertising, while Zeitgeist focuses on PR.

Zeitgeist principal Alex Josef said the merger was done to better serve existing clients, who are more and more often looking for an expanded marketing mix from a single shop.

?I?ve had a lot of clients come to me and say, ?Do you handle any ad copy or can you help with our ad buys??? he said. ?I would steer them to another company, and invariably we would end up having some [campaign integration] problems down the road.?

Along with Josef, the new shop will be led by Pacific Media principals Richard Sherman and James Little, and have clients including Intec, the Global Gaming League, and Whiptail Interactive.
