SAN MATEO, CA: Biz360 and LexisNexis have developed MarketImpact, a measurement product that will combine LexisNexis content with Biz360 technology.
"The combination of our assets is important," said Elizabeth Rector, SVP of corporate and federal markets for LexisNexis.
The two companies have had a joint sales relationship since last year.
She added that the union on the product illustrates LexisNexis' commitment to text analytics as a strategic growth area.
One of MarketImpact's key features includes AutoDiscovery, a new metric that is also a new addition to Biz360's flagship Market360 product.
The feature helps users discover the topics that are most closely associated with their company or brand.
"This would be valuable to corporate communications professionals in their ability to discover competitors' messages or discover which attributes are most closely associated with their corporate reputation," said Deborah Eastman, CMO of Biz360. "Basically, it uncovers things that you wouldn't have known otherwise to look for."
Previously, clients could identify topics that they wanted to be associated with in their media coverage, but not unexpected correlations.
