LAS VEGAS: Dan Klores Communications (DKC) is handling the rollout campaign and media strategy for Las Ramblas, a hype-worthy new resort whose investors include actor George Clooney.
In an e-mail interview, DKC SVP Juliet Horn said the agency is working for Las Ramblas developer Related Las Vegas and does project work for After Midnight Co., nightlife developers that are also partners in the new venture.
DKC helped Las Ramblas garner hundreds of stories from media outlets across the world last week, most of which focused on Clooney's foray into the real-estate market.
Horn said that Clooney "is one of the primary spokespersons for the project in our PR and marketing efforts," and will promote the development in his upcoming movie-related press events and in an ad campaign slated to run in print and on the internet.
Centra Properties, the final partner in Las Ramblas, works with the full-service Las Vegas firm Schadler Kramer Group.
DKC has had a team of five people assigned to the Las Ramblas account since mid-June, said Horn.
