NEW YORK: Wenner Media, publisher of Rolling Stone, US Weekly, and Men's Journal, has named Mark Neschis as director of corporate communications. He succeeds Lisa Dallos, who left the position in June.
He will officially join Wenner Media on October 17.
"Wenner Media has some of the strongest brands in the publishing business," he said. "[It] has a great story to tell."
Neschis will direct corporate communications and oversee PR efforts for Wenner's titles, as well as its books division.
Most recently, he served as an EVP at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, working on campaigns for such media clients as AOL, Knight Ridder, Comedy Central, CNN, and The New York Times Co.
He also worked as director of television for the White House under the Clinton Administration, as well as a producer for Fox News Channel and CNBC.
"Mark's professional communications background in television, marketing, and politics will enhance our already strong corporate message," said Jann Wenner, chairman of Wenner Media, in a statement.
