SAN FRANCISCO: Clothing retailer Gap has narrowed its US AOR search to three finalists: Edelman, Hill & Knowlton, and Weber Shandwick.
The brand hopes to make its final selection by the end of November, according to Dan Orsborn, senior partner with Select Resources International, which is managing the search.
The review only involves Gap, and not its namesake parent company, or its sister brands Old Navy, Banana Republic, or Forth & Towne.
Gap's incumbent agency, New York-based KCD Worldwide, was not included in the review.
Gap wants to go beyond its PR being primarily fashion-focused and be seen more as a lifestyle brand, said Orsborn when the review began in October. The account will include all of Gap's related brands, including Gap Body and Baby Gap.
Orsborn declined to divulge the size of the account, and said that Gap would not comment on the review.
