NEW YORK: Vincent Partners, a brand marketing firm, has opened a PR division that will be led by former LaForce & Stevens SVP Brooke Smith.

NEW YORK: Vincent Partners, a brand marketing firm, has opened a PR division that will be led by former LaForce & Stevens SVP Brooke Smith.

Smith said Vincent decided to launch the new division "to offer the clients they're working with, and potential clients, a broader array of services."

She added that the marketing campaigns led by Vincent now "are typically stronger with PR programs that support them and spread the word and extend their messages."

The PR division will begin working with some of Vincent's existing marketing clients and expand to standalone PR clients.

Smith said that she had worked with Vincent on projects in the past and recently decided to join the firm.

She will initially be the only employee in the PR practice, but the agency hopes to expand its
numbers, she said.

Previously, Smith spent two years at LaForce & Stevens and, before that, two years as director of PR at Krispy Kreme.

Current Vincent clients in the brand-marketing practice include In Touch Weekly magazine, dating service Lavalife, Joe Boxer, and Cablevision.
