WATERTOWN, MA: Cymfony has hired Jim Nail as chief marketing and strategy officer, the first such position for the media measurement and business intelligence company.
Cindy Sullivan, director of marketing communications for Cymfony, noted that company services have expanded to include new media such as blogs.
"We needed somebody to come in and see how to get those messages out," she said.
Nail most recently worked as a principal analyst at Forrester Research, where he focused on how marketing strategies and tactics have to adjust to technology-driven changes in consumer media habits.
"I'm excited about entering a space like this, which is pretty nascent," he said. "There's a lot of potential there."
