The Sony Ericsson W600 Walkman Phone is a logical all-in-one solution in today's multi-tasking society.
In addition to being a quality cell phone, it also functions as a Walkman, digital camera, and an MP3 player that holds approximately 100 songs. And it's easy enough to switch between all three capabilities.
It also includes text messaging, gaming, and internet-browsing capabilities available on most cell phones. The software included was easy to install and it made transferring images from the phone or MP3 files to the phone quite simple.
The W600's design is sleek enough to fit in a purse or pocket, yet vibrant enough to attract attention from people on the street. Having a cell phone that can double as a radio transmitter and MP3 player is an interesting feature. And the sound quality is comparable to that of a traditional radio or iPod. Most cell phones today come with picture-taking capabilities, but having to transform this phone into its camera alter-ego is a bit cumbersome, especially considering the 1.3-megapixel image quality.
This all-in-one item is a good choice for those who can't afford or commit to higher-quality versions of its auxiliary services.
