FOLSOM, CA: Jadoo Power Systems, a manufacturer of fuel cell power systems used in broadcast, law enforcement, and emergency response markets, has selected Thomas Public Relations as its AOR.
The agency will help Jadoo position itself for a move into the consumer electronics marketplace.
Agency president Karen Thomas noted that the PR push would get underway with Jadoo presenting its technology - which is essentially a hydrogen-powered battery - at the Consumer Electronics show next month in Las Vegas.
Jack Peterson, VP of sales and marketing at Jadoo, noted that there would also be a number of editorial placements of product reviews and company profiles.
He pointed to CQ, a monthly publication aimed at handheld radio users, and Prosper, a financial publication, as examples of outlets being targeted. He added that the company might also try to earn coverage in Fortune and The Wall Street Journal.
Other components of the outreach effort will include branding and press tours.
Thomas would not disclose financial terms of the six-month agreement.
