WASHINGTON: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) is looking for an agency to handle paid and earned media targeting Spanish-speaking, Hispanic audiences.
The RFP, when issued, would be in addition to a PR contract CMS plans to award to a handful of agencies for most of its communications activities over the next five years.
The agency would educate Medicare beneficiaries - and the people who interact with them - on issues such as their health plan options, their rights and responsibilities under the Medicare program, and disease prevention.
CMS plans to run the campaign nationally and in several Hispanic media markets using advertising, media outreach, and direct mail.
The selected agency must also be able to monitor and measure the impact of the campaign.
