NEW YORK: PRWeek has made two new additions to its editorial team, and promoted one staff member.

Karl Greenberg joined PRWeek as news editor last week. He was previously the automotive reporter at Brandweek, where he had worked since 2001. Greenberg has also been a reporter for Adweek, and Chemical Market Reporter.

Michael Bush is PRWeek's new consumer reporter. Most recently, Bush was editor of Youth Markets Alert, and prior to that was a senior reporter at DM News.

Beth Herskovits, PRWeek's healthcare reporter, has assumed the role of deputy news editor. Herskovits will continue to cover healthcare, and write her web column Reputation Rx. Herskovits joined PRWeek in May, 2004.

"Over the past year, the PRWeek team has been looking for more ways to deliver important information and perspectives to our readers, on a range of topics," said Julia Hood, PRWeek editor-in-chief.

The recent hires and promotion are part of that effort, Hood added. "Karl and Michael bring with them additional marketing expertise that will enhance our coverage of the role that PR plays in the mix."
