Those who have inked deals with Connect during the past month are

OnLink, a Redwood City-based provider of e-commerce sales and marketing

applications; Master Design & Development (MD&D), a San Francisco

company that markets NT enterprise software; and Torrance, CA-based

ePolicy, which sells small business insurance online.

OnLink previously used The Jona Group in San Francisco, while ePolicy

had employed Alexander Ogilvy. MD&D did not have an agency prior to

signing with Connect.

The account wins mark the second recent influx of new business from the

West Coast for Connect, which snagged Mountain View-based Cobalt

Networks in January and plucked NetManage and AlphaBlox away from

Alexander Ogilvy and Cunningham Communications, respectively, last fall.

The new clients have forced Connect to up the size of its satellite San

Francisco office, which now houses seven of the agency’s 30-plus

full-time employees.

Formerly known as Network Associates, Connect also represents Symantec,

makers of Norton AntiVirus and Norton Utilities. The firm is projected

to generate dollars 4.5 million in fee income this year.
