NBC, iSyndicate has inked deals with two agencies to handle its

worldwide PR needs.

The San Francisco-based company, which provides syndicated content to

online media and other Web properties, has hired Manning Selvage & Lee

for domestic PR and BitePR, a UK-based subsidiary of Text 100, for an

international push. Both agencies will assist iSyndicate from their San

Francisco outposts.

The annual PR budget, accounting for both agencies combined, will likely

exceed dollars 720,000, according to VP of marketing Jeff Thomas. Up

until now, iSyndicate had been working with independent PR consultant

Pat Reilly, but the company did not previously have a full-service

agency of record.

’Because of everything going on with the company, we needed arms and

legs,’ said Thomas, who noted that iSyndicate will also be hiring an

in-house PR manager and PR director within the next few months.
