Relations.

McGrath/Power won the business over several top-tier Silicon Valley

firms, including the Hoffman Agency.

According to McGrath/Power VP Jonathan Bloom, his agency’s previous

experience with iPix, a provider of Internet streaming video whose

account the agency resigned last year, gave it the edge.

’This company is a diamond in the rough,’ he said. ’We were hired to

consumerize their technology and to establish their rightful position as

a leader in live streaming video on the Web.’

Be Here is one of three new clients that have signed on with

McGrath/Power over the past 60 days. Also new to the roster are Brand3,

Sycore and Homes.com.

The firm also recently received a windfall from long-time client Puma

Technology, which tripled its annual PR spending to about dollars

400,000 after acquiring Netmind, a former Alexander Ogilvy client.

According to Bloom, McGrath/Power is on target to hit dollars 3 million

in fees in 2000, representing a 30% growth from 1999.
