players to crosstown rival the Porter Novelli Convergence Group.

SVP Dave Furhman, who led the firm’s San Francisco operations, said last

week that he will join PNCG as a partner on April 24.

’After five years with Weber, I’m looking forward to some new

challenges, and the Convergence Group is a great agency with some

amazing talent on board,’ he said. Furhman joins PNCG partners Laura

Ruthenback and Rhonda Shantz in San Francisco.

Weber wasted no time in filling Furhman’s slot, promoting SVP Marc Bien,

a PR and public affairs veteran.
