Communications.



The New York-based unit will produce meetings, speeches, videos and

digital media to help clients introduce new products and strategies to

their sales force and other employees.



’This extends our product offering for clients,’ said Peter Fleischer,

director of Ketchum’s workplace practice, which continues to be based in

Chicago. ’It’s a logical and natural fit.’



Principals Gary Seltzer and John Cassese, who joined Ketchum in February

from NY-based ACG Communications, will lead Concentric. At ACG they

headed the firm’s healthcare group, most notably handling the launch of

Celebrex for Searle and Pfizer. Other clients included SmithKline

Beecham, Allergan and UCB Pharma.



’Our specialty is finding new and creative ways to reach critical

internal stakeholders with the kinds of messages that will drive higher

performance,’ said Seltzer.



At Ketchum, this type of work had previously been outsourced or handled

by the firm’s internal productions group.
