NEW YORK: Marcy Engelman has left Dan Klores Associates after more than five years - and has taken prized client Julia Roberts with her.
Engelman, who formerly spent 14 years at Rogers & Cowan, has represented the actress for the past two years, a stretch which saw Roberts knock off a string of dollars 100 million-grossing blockbusters, including Notting Hill, Runaway Bride and Erin Brockovich. Engleman's as-yet-unnamed firm will open in downtown Manhattan on June 1. 'She's been a great asset to the agency,' said DKA managing partner John Marino. 'We wish her the best of luck in her endeavors.'
