Capps’ eight-year reign was marked by significant growth in PRN’s

distribution volume as well as steady global expansion. Just as

important, however, has been the company’s race to market with new

products - also a priority on Morin’s radar.

’The news release will become a multimedia event, and not just a

textural document,’ he explained. ’There is currently a multitude of

multimedia products, but the keys to the kingdom will be the integration

of all these formats.’

As for expansion, PRN will open a local office in Brazil this month,

which will be followed by openings in Israel, Mexico, Argentina, Taiwan

and Singapore later this year.

Morin joined PRN in 1989 as CFO and was later promoted to SVP for

finance and administration. He was named president of the Americas

division last year in a far-reaching reorganization of the company’s

global Internet and satellite operations.
