Open Group CEO Rodrigo Fernandez Madero declined to comment on the value

of the contract, but said that his firm’s pitch focused on promoting

Argentine products and tourism in the international as well as the local

media.



Open Group is Argentina’s 10th-largest agency, boasting annual billings

of dollars 1.4 million.



Expo2000, which starts this week and runs until October 30, promises to

be one of the biggest international PR events this year, with more than

100 countries competing for the attention of an expected 40 million

visitors and thousands of journalists from all over the world.
