PRINCETON, NJ: Princeton University’s office of communications has

brought Ruth Stevens on board as managing editor. For the past 15 years,

she supervised news and public information activities at Western

Michigan University, and previously held a similar post at Carleton

College.





DENVER: Ogilvy has opened its doors in Denver and has hired David

Melancon to lead the new outpost. Melancon was most recently chief

marketing officer at Denver-based start-up netLibrary and, before that,

ran Fleishman-Hillard’s corporate practice in California. Ogilvy will

share office space in downtown Denver with tech-centric sibling

Alexander Ogilvy.





NEW YORK: Consulting firm Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has promoted David

Schutzman, 38, to director of public relations. He was previously

associate director of PR for consulting at Ernst & Young.





SAN FRANCISCO: Business Wire has named Leslie Yngojo-Bowes media

relations manager, a newly created post. She arrives at BW with nearly

17 years of broadcast marketing and promotion experience, most recently

as a publicist and creative services associate for New York’s NBC

affiliate.





ATLANTA: Delta Air Lines has selected M. Booth & Associates to help

develop and publicize its new customer service program.





NEW YORK: Working Woman Network has named Jayne Wallace as VP of PR and

Meryl Weinsaft as manager of publicity. Both arrive from the Screen

Actors Guild, where Wallace was director of PR and Weinsaft was manager

of publicity.





CANTON, OH: The Innis Maggiore Group has acquired HUB Communications, an

eight-year-old Uniontown, OH-based PR firm, and taken on HUB founder

Linda Hubbard as an account supervisor. Terms of the deal were not

disclosed.





CHICAGO: Porter Novelli has hired three new VPs in Chicago: Kathy

Cummings (consumer), Terri Shank (media relations) and Jeffrey Sholemson

(healthcare).





SAN FRANCISCO: Alexander Ogilvy has promoted Holland Carney and Sandra

Moreland to the roles of regional presidents. Carney, based in San

Francisco, becomes president of US/western region, while Moreland, based

in Atlanta, becomes president of US/eastern region.
