SAN FRANCISCO: Continuing its California buying spree, The Corsi
Agency has scooped up Chapman Warwick.
Founded in 1966, Chapman Warwick is one of the oldest integrated
agencies in San Diego. The firm will operate as a subsidiary of Corsi
called Corsi Chapman Warwick, and CW president Nancy Higgins will
continue in the same role for the newly merged firm.
’With the huge boom in hi-tech, telecom and biotech down there, it seems
like PR will be the biggest source of significant growth for San Diego,’
said Corsi PR director Julie Lehman, noting that CW’s mix had weighed
more heavily toward ads prior to the merger.
This is the second acquisition of the year for Corsi, which picked up
Silicon Valley integrated shop Carter Israel last March.
