PRWeek reports changes in staff

NEW YORK: PRWeek has announced a series of changes in its editorial team. Elly Trickett joins as news editor on September 15, replacing Larry Dobrow, who is leaving to pursue other interests. Trickett joins from Campaign, Haymarket’s flagship UK business magazine, where she specialized in advertising, direct marketing and media.

team. Elly Trickett joins as news editor on September 15, replacing

Larry Dobrow, who is leaving to pursue other interests. Trickett joins

from Campaign, Haymarket’s flagship UK business magazine, where she

specialized in advertising, direct marketing and media.



Deputy news editor Stephanie Gaskell, a former AP journalist, will be

responsible for PRWeek’s news analysis section, previously handled by

Matthew Boyle. Boyle is moving to Fortune as a reporter.



Also joining PRWeek are special projects editor James Bourne, who has

worked at Sitrick & Associates and Rogers & Associates, and reporter

Julia Hood, a former PR pro at British American Tobacco and Mobil

Oil.



Features editor Thom Weidlich is leaving to freelance. His successor

will be announced shortly.
