LAST CALL: Not exactly home on the range yet

Word has reached Last Call of a classic miscommunication that has been doing the rounds at Washington PR agency Strauss Radio Strategies.

A man called in asking for a proposal and started to tell an account executive about his business, describing his national tour, his cattle, his bulls, lasso shows and calf races. This was clearly no average corporate client - something that became even clearer as the mystery man went on to describe 'selling out in Dallas' and 'doing a big show in Detroit.'

As the by-now highly confused exec listened to the man asking if they could help out with 'clown talent,' it all finally came together - he was in the rodeo business and he thought the agency was Strauss Rodeo Strategies.
