LONDON: Omnicom-owned public affairs agency GPC has created an International Advisory Board advising senior agency management and clients on transnational issues in trade and competition.

Controversially, it has lured John Bridgeman, the outgoing director-general of Government competition body the Office of Fair Trading, to head it up.

The IAB also includes two former Canadian cabinet ministers, ex-deputy prime minister Donald Mazankowski and ex-trade and industry secretary Edward Lumley.
