'Timing is everything,' said GCI CEO Bob Feldman. 'This week we had planned to announce a new office in Boulder, just as we won the highly coveted business in Louisville. GCI will now open its doors with more than dollars 2 million in fee income, immediately making us one of the larger players in the region.'

It is believed that GCI beat Ogilvy, Edelman and Fleishman-Hillard to the business, which is said to be worth some dollars 1 million in fee income.

The office will be headed up by tech expert Bob Berger and joined by Dianne Gleason, the global leader of GCI's emerging technologies practice.

'The rationale for entering Boulder is compelling,' said Berger. 'The city is home to a growing number of telecommunications companies, e-commerce firms, software developers, ISPs and computer storage makers.'
