MIAMI, FL: Entertainment PR supremo Lizzie Grubman is discussing a joint venture with the nightclub owner and socialite, Ingrid Casares.

Grubman confirmed to PRWeek that she is negotiating a partnership with Casares that could see the formation of a separate company in Miami - although one other option is to have Casares run the Miami office of Lizzie Grubman/Peggy Siegal Company.

Grubman is already Casares' publicist, but wants to tap the bon vivant's high profile to bring in new clients. She said: 'Ingrid is great at marketing and we have always worked well together.'

Casares is the daughter of a multi-millionaire Cuban businessman, but is perhaps best known as a friend of numerous celebrities including singer Madonna and fashion designer Donatella Versace.

Grubman opened her Miami office in January 1998. Clients include Casares' clubs Joia and Liquid; new lounge bar Mynt and the restaurant, Mark's Place.

If the talks are successful, it will be Grubman's second major alliance this year. In March she agreed a merger with movie specialists Peggy Siegal Company.

The company's New York and Los Angeles offices will not be affected by any change.
