We thought that New Age thing ended circa 1993. But evidently someone forgot to tell Amherst & Reeves, a Denver-based integrated marketing communications firm that recently won the PR account for Castle Hawk Development & Designs.
According to the press release announcing the new business win, Amherst & Reeves differentiates itself from other PR firms as a 'being-based' company. (Apparently it doesn't want to be accused of being biased toward earth-based life forms.)
'That means we are dedicated to making businesses and people happy,' account representative Nicole Evans told PRWeek. 'We run our accounts according to the same core values of the company, which are basically to do everything to achieve happiness.'
OK. Wonder how happy AEs are when they have to cold-call cranky editors to line up a press tour? Or how happy clients are when the boss lets half the staff take a yoga retreat the Friday afternoon before deadline?
