LOS ANGELES: Union Bank of California has named a new vice president of corporate communications. Sharon Woodson-Bryant will formulate and implement communications strategies and serve as media and community liaison for UboC's local activities. Before relocating to LA to join the firm, Woodson-Bryant was PR manager for the former Great Western Bank's operations in Florida. She has also put in stints at Walt Disney World and Bell Pacific Headquarters.
