Weber Shandwick's management team embodies the best of both worlds

NEW YORK: Its marriage official, Weber Shandwick has fleshed out its new management team with an uncontroversial and almost equal mix of personnel from each agency.

At the helm of the combined firm is CEO Larry Weber. Former Shandwick CEO Scott Meyer will serve as chairman, Weber's Marijean Lauzier as president and COO, and Weber's William Davies as CFO.

Other senior appointments were delegated evenly to Weber and Shandwick execs.

Tom Tardio was named CEO of North American operations. Tardio will continue serving as CEO of Shandwick's Rogers & Cowan brand.

Alison Clarke was tapped to serve as CEO of the firm's Asia Pacific offices, while Martin Spurrier will serve as chairman for the region. For the past year, Clarke led Shandwick's operations in the region. Spurrier came from Ludgate Asia, where he had been CEO.

Lutz Meyer was named CEO of the firm's European offices. Meyer had held the same post with Shandwick.

Bruce Rubin was made CEO of Latin America. Rubin was CEO of Weber/RBB in Miami.

Weber's Carol Corcoran was named EVP of Human Resources. Jackie Lustig, also of Weber, was named EVP of marketing and new business development.

Shandwick's Jill Murphy was named EVP of McCann WorldGroup Development.
