The holiday cards flowed into Last Call's grotto fast and furiously last month, some demonstrating more creativity than others.
Several, including SS&K, Tracey/Edwards and Mason & Madison, used the predictable election theme with butterfly ballot cards cluttering our desks.
Time Out New York magazine meanwhile sent the most tasteless card which shows a green deodorizer Christmas tree carrying the words 'eau de taxi.' And inside? 'Hope your holiday doesn't stink.'
But top prize for creativity goes to Ritz Carlton's PR doyen Vivian Deuschl who sent a picture of herself dressed in traditional Turkish costume. It reads simply, 'Greetings from Istanbul.' Do they celebrate Christmas there?
But to all who made the effort, thanks for the good wishes.
