Dawn Dankner-Rosen will serve as general manager for a five-person team based in Chappaqua, NY.

Dankner-Rosen was formerly PR director at Foot Locker and Kinney Shoe Corporation, and has been running her own PR firm, DDR, for 11 years.

DDR's business will be integrated with RF&A.

The principal area for growth in the New York market will be the footwear, fashion and beauty industries. 'Dawn has already made contact with several footwear clients, as well as those in fashion and the toy industry' said Richard French, president and CEO. 'We already have interest from several of these companies.'

In Tennessee, RF&A has formed an alliance with Hallmark Directions Company (HDC), which manages country music artists.

The firm will serve as the marketing and PR arm for Ricochet, one of HDC's major music clients. RF&A has moved into the same building as HDC in Nashville.

Ricochet recently signed an endorsement agreement with Wrangler, an RF&A client, in which the clothing company will sponsor its 2001 tour.

Another RF&A client is whiskey maker Jack Daniel's Western Lifestyle program, which could offer another country music partnership.

'There is potential to partner with HDC's clients when they are emerging artists,' said French.
