Creativity shown in new Edelman hire

SEATTLE: Top advertising creative, Gail Anne Grosso, has joined Edelman in the new position of executive VP and creative director for the Western US region.

SEATTLE: Top advertising creative, Gail Anne Grosso, has joined Edelman in the new position of executive VP and creative director for the Western US region.

SEATTLE: Top advertising creative, Gail Anne Grosso, has joined Edelman in the new position of executive VP and creative director for the Western US region.

Grosso, who will be based in Seattle, will work on strategy for Edelman's highly creatively-focused clients throughout its five West Coast offices including Microsoft, Starbuck's, Charles Schwab, Apple Computer and Procter & Gamble.

'Grosso will be working with our clients to deepen and broaden our creative partnerships, as well as inspire idea-centric thinking on all brands,' said Pamela Talbot, president of US operations for Edelman.

Most recently, Grosso spent three years as president and chief creative officer for Publicis/Seattle, where she was credited with growing the Voicestream business from a regional company to an international communications powerhouse. Before that, she spent most of the 1990s as an SVP and creative director for Saatchi & Saatchi in New York, and held similar posts with Young & Rubicam and Ketchum Advertising.
