PR21's CEO, Gus Weill, can be excused for walking around his New York office these days singing Who Let the Dogs Out?
Weill discovered a doggone mess when he joined the firm's New York office late last year, as he came in on his first day and tripped over a boxer.
Weill, who owns a bulldog and a chihuahua himself, was thrilled at how pet-friendly the office was, and plans to bring his pets in sometime.
Not a day goes by without one or two canine faces adding to the office of 42 human ones - which is a good thing, he said: 'Having dogs around tends to have a very calming influence on people.'
The dogs do well out of it as well, often getting to snack on leftovers from client meetings - though Weill swore that clients weren't being billed for extra doggy treats.
The only requirement for those wanting to bring their dogs is that the pets have to be house-trained first. 'To my knowledge, we've had no accidents to date,' said a relieved Weill, checking his shoe.
