'DoubleClick is a fantastic company with a very bright future. But I'm going back to the political world because it's what I do best,' said Isay, who starts his new job next week.

MC&G develops communications strategies for Democratic politicians.

The firm has represented Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). Before joining DoubleClick, Isay was chief of staff for Sen. Schumer.
