How long have you been in your job? Five years. Three-and-a-half in St. Louis and one-and-a-half in New York.

Describe the space you work in. In June 2000, our crew moved a block away from Grand Central. I have a sliver view of the East River. The space overall is trendy, urban loft style - all three floors of Weber Shandwick are connected via an atrium and the 'memorial' staircase. As for my desk, it doesn't get the tidy award, but rest assured, I can find anything in a flash.

Do you socialize with your colleagues? All the time! More often than not, informal group outings happen at least once or twice a week. In the summers, we have organized trips to Yankee games, the Hamptons and Chelsea Piers. In fact, I just got back from the Weber Shandwick Worldwide recognition program, in Key West, FL, meeting people from other Weber Shandwick offices in the US and Canada.

How often do you see the boss? Daily - if I can catch up with her.

Who is the smartest person you work with? There are a number of really smart people here, but in PR, being savvy and experienced is more important than book smarts.

How comfortable are your offices? From the Herman Miller ergonomic chairs to the ultra-modern kitchen complete with the chalkboard wall, we have lots of great things that make the office comfortable.

How often are you still there when the cleaners come round? Daily! She hits my floor first.

What is the best thing about working there? The best thing about working at Weber Shandwick is all of the really great people. We have several areas - technology, financial, consumer, healthcare - and we often work together on larger clients in integrated programs. It's a great way to learn.

And the worst thing? Not enough hours in the day to get things done! Sometimes the pressure is intense.

What is the biggest thing to hit your office in the past year?

The Shandwick International and Weber Group merger.

Sneak us a good piece of gossip from your office. We share space with our sister firm, which is in the entertainment business, and occasionally we get to ride the elevator with actors and famous rock stars.
