LAST CALL: PR out to lunch? Not so anymore

For the legions of New York PR people who never leave their desks, there is new hope. Soon, they won't even have to get up to rifle through take-out menus.

Seamlessweb, which has primarily targeted lawyers since its launch in December 1999, will add PR agencies to its 60+ customer base. From its Web site, the firm offers food service, from individual sandwiches to full-blown catering.

Why branch into PR? 'Law firms and PR agencies have a lot of similarities,' explained co-founder Jason Finger. 'You have hard-working professionals. They often work late, and they entertain a significant amount of clients.'

And, presumably, they're too lazy to leave their desks. PRWeek idly wonders if Seamlessweb is planning to branch out into commodes.
