Stuart Wilson, the former international client service director and European new business director, is the new co-GM along with Ann Adams, former SVP consumer marketing.

'We were looking for people who had complimentary skills,' said Jim Kaplove, C&W CFO. Wilson came to the Chicago office in November from C&W London and has experience in b-to-b technology.

Adams, a Chicago office veteran, has more than 11 years of consumer marketing and healthcare experience.

'Our strategy is to build where we have the strategic capabilities,' said Wilson. He expects to go after new clients in food, hospitality and b-to-b technology first, moving into healthcare and other technology areas in the long term.

Last April, Rose Ann Anschuetz, former head of C& W's Chicago office, left the firm. At the time, C&W CEO Steve Aiello said he and Anschuetz had different opinions regarding the future direction for the troubled Chicago operation, which saw PR fees drop dollars 500,000 in 1999 to dollars 2.5 million.

Anschuetz in November became president/CEO of Publicis Dialog Chicago.

'We hadn't done so well in prior years in Chicago,' acknowledged Kaplove, adding that final 2000 fees weren't available.
