Kind & Partners is new C&W partner

LONDON: Cohn & Wolfe has signed an affiliation agreement with

15-person Swedish public relations and communications agency Kind &

Partners in what Cohn & Wolfe's European marketing director said was a

completion of top-tier representation in the European markets.

Stockholm-based Kind & Partners will co-market and perform joint client

and promotional work with the Cohn & Wolfe European network. No money

changed hands in the deal and the two businesses will remain separate in

their finances and operations.

The agreement follows the acquisition of a Paris office in August, and a

Madrid office in September.

'We're in a big growth phase,' said European MD James Thellusson, who is

based in London. 'Sweden is a large economy and there is a lot of

exciting technology business there, so it adds to our European

technology business.

Our Danish office also gains by having that commercial and personal

relationship so close by.'

Kind & Partners and Cohn & Wolfe already work jointly on two accounts:

Orange, the European telecommunications giant, and Alfa Laval, a Swedish

engineering firm.

Thellusson said Cohn & Wolfe is looking at further European agreements

and acquisitions, but declined to specify where or when they might

occur.
