SAN FRANCISCO: Bucking the recent downsizing trend among West Coast

tech agencies, San Francisco-based Access Communications announced this

week it has added a senior-level executive and landed two new accounts.

On the personnel side, the firm has hired Allyne Mills, former vice

president of corporate communications at, as a vice

president in the New York office, which is a newly created position. On

the client side, SwitcHouse, a consumer-to-consumer online swapping

service, and AirSpeak, a wireless products company, have both joined the

Access roster.
