GCI fills two long-vacant positions

SAN FRANCISCO: GCI Group has at last filled two key posts, both

based in San Francisco.

Former Burson-Marsteller executive Martin Alintuck has joined the firm

as president of the San Francisco office. He replaces Greg Spector, who

left last year to head up Blanc & Otus.

While with Burson, Alintuck held several senior positions, including

West Coast corporate practice leader, managing director of the

Burson/Tokyo and managing director of Burson/Shanghai.

San Francisco-based SVP Bob Wynne becomes leader of the firm's corporate

practice throughout North America, a post that has stood vacant since

Jim Cox departed last year.

Throughout much of 2000, the San Francisco office was overseen by Sam

Singer, GCI's former West Coast managing director. Singer left the

agency in January.
