LAST CALL: 'Daddy' re-names 'Diddy' - or did he?

Dan Klores, fresh from his media-splashed success as PR counselor

to the artist formerly known as 'Puff Daddy,' has just signed a new

client - his own newborn son. All together now: 'Awwww.'

Samuel Isaac Klores made his public debut on Tuesday, April 4, at 9:39am

at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He weighed eight pounds two

ounces, and both mother and child are healthy and well. We know because

we got a call from Klores' personal assistant alerting us to the scoop

(Sorry Dan, the front page is full this week.)

Klores, president of Dan Klores Communications, and his wife Abbe, who

were married in 1995, also have a three-year-old son named Jake.

The happy news also had the light bulbs popping up above our heads with

a new theory as to why hip-hop mogul Combs chose to rename himself P.

Diddy after his recent acquittal. Perhaps one 'Daddy' too many might

dilute the brand?
