LAST CALL: Casablanca is on roll with PR ideas

Edelman's Barbi Pecenco might say that PR genius is 10%

inspiration, 10% perspiration and 80% celebrity fixation.

The AE ran with an idea she got from reading The Awful Truth, Ted

Casablanca's weekly gossip column.

Casablanca exclusively revealed that toilet paper was forbidden for the

Outback inhabitants of Survivor II. Pecenco convinced client

Georgia-Pacific to give the contestants a lifetime supply of their Angel

Soft toilet tissue.

Wireless Flash News and radio station Z100 picked up the story. Pecenco

wrote Casablanca a thank you note that was subsequently posted in his


"PR people usually call me in bad moods," Casablanca told PRWeek. "Well,

not always. It's sort of 50-50."

Although Pecenco's letter said she might even send him a batch of the

cuddly toilet paper, it has yet to appear. "I could use some," he said,
