Incepta opens Citigate Broadcast in US

LONDON: Incepta has brought its Citigate Broadcast (CB) brand into

the US with a new, three-person office in New York.

Extending across the pond was always part of the plan, said associate

director Michelle Kramer, but international clients such as Nasdaq had

also asked CB to provide an American presence.

The agency offers implementation tools including b-roll/VNRs, satellite

uplinks and remote TV and radio tours, as well as live Webcasts,

broadcast media training, monitoring and evaluation.

Kramer will head the new office in the short term. She expects to build

up to a staff of at least 10 by the end of the fiscal year. She

currently heads CB's international expansion plans and is expected to

return to London after a few months once the New York office is up and

running on its own.

In addition to Nasdaq, CB will be servicing existing clients from the

London office such as Norwegian telecoms firm Telenor ASA, Wall Street

Access and AT&T Latin America. It will also be working with Citigate's

existing PR brands in the US such as technology expert Citigate

Cunningham and financial specialist Citigate Dewe Rogerson.
