GCI looks to grow in Latin America

NEW YORK: GCI Group is restructuring its top tier of management to

accommodate recent acquisitions and kick its Latin American expansion

plans up a gear.

Bob Pearson's title has been expanded from president of GCI North

America to president of GCI The Americas.

Jeff Hunt, who joined GCI as part of its recent acquisition of

Read-Poland, has become president of GCI Latin America. Hunt, who at one

time helped Burson-Marsteller grow its Latin American presence, reports

to Pearson.

A new executive committee has been created under Pearson to take on some

of his US responsibilities. It comprises three divisions: US operations;

services and practices; and career development.

Ken Willis, GCI Atlanta president and head of US operations, has also

been named head of the firm's interactive practice, formed when the

Atlanta office merged with sister agency Elemental Interactive.
